What subjects to choose at school or college
Students are often offered little guidance on the best combinations of subjects to study and may turn to parents for help and advice.
Whilst it is always best to start by considering what your child enjoys and is good at, there are some subjects that are important to study if you want to eventually qualify in a particular field.
• Choices at 14 for GCSE/Standard grade
• Choices post-16 for A level/Highers
