About ABPI

The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) is the trade association for more than 75 companies in the UK producing prescription medicines.

These member companies research, develop, manufacture and supply more than 80 per cent of the medicines prescribed through the National Health Service (NHS). The ABPI also represents many other organisations with an interest in the pharmaceutical industry.

Through the expert help of our member companies, ABPI has produced this website to provide career information covering the breadth of the pharmaceutical industry: from the initial discovery of a medicine to the final stages where a patient can take it to treat their disease.
