Production engineers have the primary role of increasing efficiencies throughout the manufacturing process. This includes:
- asset care – developing and executing maintenance programmes
- reducing waste
- improving line speeds and minimising bottlenecks
- working closely with equipment manufacturers to obtain and integrate the latest packaging solutions
